You can’t image the awesome beauty of this historic park. Shortly after our arrival we headed straight into the heart of America’s first national park to experience its world-renowned geothermal features. You may have seen Yellowstone pictures, but nothing compares to being here in person. Our park ranger is so informative, the perfect guide with answers to all our questions

Uphill the easy way
Teachers got to ride horses up to the top of the ziplining course on our first morning of activities. Some teachers were experts and others were riding for the first time. Luckily we had some well behaved horses who made going uphill so easy.

Even our roadside stops were educational and breathtaking! We learned that the brick “walls” were markers for the equator, and enjoyed spectacular views of the canyon and rivor below. Our Travel Manager, Gloria, ensured we were educated the plant life around us.

The Discovery teachers in Ecuador got a birds-eye view of Quito and the colors of the town from the top of the Panecillo hillside. It was absolutely stunning!
Cultural Experience in Ecuador
What a fantastic trip we are having! Yesterday, we saw an incredible church from the early 1600′s whicih was like stepping into part of heaven! Today after shopping in an open air market, we had an amazing lunch where we were serenaded by a group of walking musicians. The country is celebrating Carnival this weekend which has been a cultural experience in itself. From visiting the equator to churches to local communities, I have already learned so much.
